You Become Who...

You have heard it said, “You become like who you spend the most time with.” How do you know who to spend time with? My friend, Dr. Andy Garrett, often uses the phrase, “follow the clues.” He’s actually referring to an area of knowing when you have hit your true authenticity/identity but it’s a great phrase for many areas of life. So, what are some clues that you have found the right crowd that you let speak into your life? Some Clues: 1. They are growth oriented. 2. Their lives are filled with purpose and joy. 3. They have a plan. 4. They are humble. 5. They love to be proven wrong in order to learn more. 6. They are other-focused but have carved out time for themselves as well. 7. They talk about greatness, ideas, purpose, growth, building things, and most of all… they are generous of heart. So many people will be helpful if asked… but there is another type of person who is generally generous of heart… this type of person has a radar that is always up! They love helping and are looking for ways to see others flourish.
